In line with the national governmentโs objective to prepare every Filipino during earthquakes and in response to the public advisory of the City Government of Alaminos, Pangasinan State University-Alaminos City Campus teaching and non-teaching personnel participates in the Fourth Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill on November 11, 2021.
NSTP Coordinator, Mrs. Divina C. Abogado briefed the employees one (1) hour before the activity. Employees were informed and reminded to duck, cover, and hold once the first alarm goes off, evacuate when the second alarm stops, and exit the campus and assemble in their designated safe areas.
Such activities are aimed towards occupational safety and ensuring that all the employees are prepared when natural disasters such as earthquake strikes in the workplace.
PSU-ACC remains steadfast in its aim in providing its employees the necessary preparation for disastrous events and in promoting occupational safety as they are at the core of the University operations.
