THE PRIME ONLINE KAMUSTAHAN

The Prime aims to give students a sense of belonging and to encourage students, especially BSE Mathematics Students, not just to participate in co-curricular activities but also in the academic sense. In line with this, The Prime organized an Online Kamustahan among the members of the organization together with the organization advisers. The Kamustahan was held on November 29, 2021, from 5:00 pm onwards via MS Teams. The Kamustahan was hosted by Mr. Jomar Camba, a fourth-year BSE Math student. During the meeting, Ms. Baby-Lyn Balgua, one of the advisers of the organization, gave encouragement and tips and shared advice on how to handle stress and overcome academic struggles. Students were also given time to share their experiences and talk about how their semester went. It was a time to listen and learn from peers. In the last part, the students sang the song “Try Everything” by Shakira, which shares a message of encouragement to students that they shouldn’t let failure stop them from trying and persevering, that even though the results are not the ones they expect to have, the important thing is they took the chance and did their best. After jamming to that song, some students decided to stay and jam to more music. During the jamming session, students are free to open their microphones and sing together.
