Society of Amateur Hoteliers and Restaurateurs of Alaminos (SAHARA), one of the accredited student organizations of Pangasinan State University โ Alaminos City Campus (PSU-ACC), recently made waves at the International Youth Assembly for UNESCO, held in City State Asturias Hotel, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, on November 29 โ December 1, 2024.
Several competitions were held during the event, and SAHARA officers enthusiastically participated, demonstrating their talents and achieving remarkable success.

๐๐จ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ซ๐ฅ ๐. ๐๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ง III BSTM A captured stunning moments through ON-THE-SPOT PHOTOGRAPHY. ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ง ๐. ๐๐๐ง๐๐ข๐๐จ, III BSTM, was hailed as ๐ผ๐ต๐ฌ๐บ๐ช๐ถ ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ 1๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ผ๐, ๐ฉ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, and ๐ฉ๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐พ๐๐๐, while ๐๐จ๐ก๐ง ๐๐๐ฒ ๐. ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง, III BSTM was named ๐ผ๐ต๐ฌ๐บ๐ช๐ถ ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ 1๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ผ๐ and ๐ฉ๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐พ๐๐๐ during the search for Ambassador and Ambassadress of UNESCO 2024.
Along with these achievements, the National Coordinating Body of Clubs for UNESCO in the Philippines (NCBCUP) officially accredited SAHARA as a member. Further, the officers performed a cultural presentation of Pangasinan’s “Pandanggo Oasiwas,” wrapping up the competitions with outstanding efforts.
With the unequivocal support of ๐ซ๐. ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ด. ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐, University President; ๐ซ๐. ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ช. ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs; ๐ซ๐. ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ซ๐ณ. ๐ฝ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, Campus Executive Director; and under the guidance of the SAHARAโs advisers, Mr. Arnulfo A. Gutierrez Jr., MBA, and Mr. Benedicto P. Rabina Jr., MBA. PSU-ACC students in their field of expertise were able to showcase their talents and dedication, resulting in remarkable achievements and highlighting the potential offerings of Alaminos City.
