Participants from Pangasinan State University have once again brought honor to the institution as PSU-Alaminos City Campus secured 1stRunner-Up in the recently concluded 35th National Statistics Month Celebration, Oratorical, and STATIKTOK Provincial Competitions Tertiary Level. The competitions were held today, October 11, 2024, at the PESO Conference Room for Oratorical Competition and PPDO Conference, Malong Building, Lingayen, Pangasinan, for the STATIKTOK Contest.
In the Oratorical Competition, Ms. Michelle Joy Gutierrez, IV BSEd-English, with the help of her coaches, Ms. Zarah Jane B. Anuddin and Dr. Agerico F. Oboza, delivered a powerful and persuasive speech that captivated the judges and audiences, earning 1st Runner-Up among the participants. On the other hand, Jessa Diane Ladia, April Ann Arconcil, Trina Joy Mendez, Jennifer Tucay, and Mark Anthony Noblado, IV-BEEd students, showcased their statistical prowess in the STATISTOK Competition, securing 1stRunner-Up. Their achievement became possible with the guidance of their coach, Ms. Sixiane Kim Recepcion.
