The Pangasinan State University-Alaminos City Campus (PSU-ACC) Library held a creative contest called โ€œAct a Book Sceneโ€ as part of the 88th National Book Week and 32nd Library and Information Services (LIS) Month this November.

The contest challenged the students to choose a scene from their favorite book and recreate it using costumes, props, and locations. The students also had to provide a short caption for their entry and indicate the title and author of the book they adapted.

The contest received several entries from different courses and programs, showcasing the studentsโ€™ talent and passion for reading. The entries were judged based on originality, creativity, relevance, and presentation.

The first place went to the III BSE English group, who acted out a scene from Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery. The second place was awarded to the BSIT students, who portrayed a scene from Noli Me Tangere by Jose Rizal, featuring the character of Sisa. The third place was given to the BSE Filipino students, who depicted the birth of Jesus Christ from The Bible.

The PSU-ACC Library congratulated the winners and thanked all the participants for joining the contest. The library also encouraged the students to continue reading and appreciating books, especially during these challenging times.
