True to its core value of manifesting social and environmental responsiveness, Pangasinan State University – Alaminos City Campus conducted a two-day Brigada Unibersidad in preparation for the forthcoming Academic Year 2022 – 2023 on September 15-16, 2022. 

A total number of two hundred thirteen (213) freshmen students participated in the first day. Registration took place before the program officially convened. Dr. Elmer Diocares rendered his welcome address followed by a meaningful message from Dr. Jenylyn Oboza, Campus Executive Director where she emphasized that the campus is a second home for all the students. Dr. Oboza added that ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment is a shared responsibility among students, teachers, stakeholders, and campus administrators. Moreover, she reminded everyone to embody social and environmental responsiveness as one of the university’s core values. 

Dr. Frank Padlan, Department Chairperson of BSBA, convened the second day of the program to discuss the statement of purpose for the landscaping and tree planting activities. Dr. Padlan also discussed the guidelines and criteria for the landscaping competition.

Brigada Unibersidad is an avenue to promote unity and ignite the spirit of Bayanihan.
