Committed to achieving the University vision of becoming an ASEAN premier State University and maintaining its quality policy of improving its operation in response to the changing environment, Pangasinan State University – Alaminos City Campus (PSU-ACC) underwent and successfully passed the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) Virtual Level II Accreditation for all its programs specifically: Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd); Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd), Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) via Zoom last May 17-21, 2021 while Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) program underwent and passed the same level of accreditation on August 16-20, 2021
Most of the accreditors agree that despite the pandemic, and the added preparation of the digital documents, PSU-ACC has done its best to comply with the requirements provided in each of the parameters and subparameters of each areas. However, the accreditors reminded that area chairs and members of each program shall ensure the accessibility and conformance to format of some of the documents uploaded, and shall provide dditional documents as evidences.
Meanwhile, the BSHM program received an excellent commendation from the Accreditors. The first four programs (BEEd, BSE, BSBA, BSIT) have been granted Level II AACCUP accredited status on June 1, 2021 while the BSHM program has been granted the same status on September 1, 2021.
PSU-ACC continues to exert gigantic efforts towards achieving the University vision of becoming an ASEAN Premier State University by undergoing accreditations.
