Gov. Amado I. Espino III, the Overall Chairman of Provincial Scholarship Program Management, Evaluation and Excellence Committee (PSPMEEC), duly represented by Mr. Isaac Bernardo, awarded the Governor’s Academic Excellence Award to Irene Papa and Governor’s Leadership Award to Cristoto Caluya, Jr. on December 18, 2020.
Papa and Caluya graduated on December 5, 2020 through the first virtual graduation of Pangasinan State University (PSU). Papa obtained the highest GPA of their batch and Caluya as the Supreme Student Council (SSC) President for the Academic Year 2019-2020, thus, making them deserving of the awards. Both student awardees received a medal, plaque, and cash from the Provincial Government. These two model students serve as inspiration to other PSUnians and to all the youths in Pangasinan.
