The COVID-19 pandemic on the delivery of instruction, Pangasinan State University, Alaminos City Campus (PSU-ACC) initiated the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Konek Project in partnership with the local government unit of Anda, which aims to provide a learning space for PSUnians for them to comply with their academic requirements.

Tasked by the University President to connect with local government units in the First District of the province of Pangasinan, Dr. Renato E. Salcedo, Alaminos City Campus Executive Director, held a meeting with the chief executive of the municipality of Anda, Mayor Joganie C. Rarang, on the implementation of the ICT Konek Project. Mayor Rarang voiced his support for the said project as he acknowledged the challenges faced by students at all levels of remote learning. He then offered a room at the Senior Citizens’ Building as the site of the learning space. 

Currently, the University has partnered with the cities of Alaminos, Dagupan, San Carlos, and Urdaneta, and with the municipalities of Alcala, Asingan, Bani, Basista, Bautista, Bayambang, Binmaley, Burgos, Dasol, Infanta, Lingayen, Mabini, Malasiqui, Mangatarem, San Manuel, Sta. Maria, Tayug, and Urbiztondo. As part of the agreement, PSU will provide computer units while the local government will provide computer units
