Pangasinan State University-Alaminos City Campus (PSU-ACC) is the youngest campus among the 9 campuses of
Pangasinan State University. To ensure the well-being of the present generation and the aim to produce well-educated and
value-driven citizens, the Sangguniang Panglungsod of the City of Alaminos endorsed the establishment of PSU-ACC and was
approved by the Pangasinan State University Board of Regents on April 19, 2009.
The first commencement exercise in PSU-ACC was held in 2014. Among these graduates, eighty-three (83) were from
the College of Teacher Education, which houses the board courses Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) and Bachelor of
Secondary Education (BSEd). And on its first batch of Licensure Examination for Teachers in March 2014, the university produced
a passing rate of 70.69% for the Secondary Level, which was 34.95% higher than the National Passing Rate and 78.57% for the
Elementary Level, 34.40% higher than the national.
The university has used several quality assurance tools due to the significant increase in operations, support services,
and governance. The campus completely embraced continuous quality improvement to become a more effective institution. As
proof of the hardships and continuous efforts, the following years after the first wave of board examinations, PSU-ACC’s
institutional board ratings from 2015 to 2019 for Elementary Level remained higher than the Average National Passing Rate each
year.
