PSU-ACC programs are Level II
re-accredited by AACCUP
Pangasinan State University–Alaminos City Campus (PSU-ACC) was evaluated by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) via Zoom on May and August 2021 as manifestation of its adamant commitment in helping realize the University’s vision of becoming the ASEAN Premier State University.
All program offerings notched the Level II AACCUP Accreditation for the year 2021. Four programs, including Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT), Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd), and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd), were assessed on May 17-21,2021. While the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) program was evaluated on August 17-20, 2021.
Despite the challenges of the online platforms, documents were presented completely and satisfactorily. Campus tours and interviews were also conducted and found to be effective, yielding positive remarks from the accreditors.

PSU-ACC readied for virtual AACCUP accreditation
Alaminos City Campus was subjected to a two-day Local Accreditation on May 2021 in preparation to the Level II Virtual Accreditation conducted by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP). The four programs scheduled to be accredited on May 17-21, 2022 are the Bachelor of Scondary Education (BSED), Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED), Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT), and Bachelor Science in Business Administration (BSBA). During the local accreditations, faculty members from different campuses who are certified accreditors by the AACCUP deliberated on the points of improvement in the accessibility of the uploaded documents needed for the fast-approaching accreditation.

PSU-ACC first to apply for safety seal in Region 1
During its onsite inspection last June 28, 2022, the CHED Region 1 composite team affirmed that Pangasinan State University-Alaminos City Campus (PSU-ACC) is the first campus to apply for the safety seal among all campuses, colleges, and universities in Region 1. This initiative signifies PSU-ACC’s unyielding commitment to provide safe environments for all employees, students, and other stakeholders by complying with the minimum health and safety protocols. Among the members of the composite team were Dr. Reyen M. Sabate (Chief Education Program Specialist), Dr. Melquiades C. Ancheta (Education Specialist II), Ms. Felicitas E. Basobas and Ms. Verlina Jimenez from the Alaminos City Health Office.
