Alaminos City Campus was recognized for its exemplary community service, earning the Best Extension Award at the 2025 University Research and Extension Symposium, held February 27-28, 2025, at Pangasinan State University, Lingayen.
Dr. Jim Aleta and Mr. Mark Harley Bristol were awarded the Best Extension Award in Cluster 2: Integrated Agriculture/Sustainable Water Resources/Food Innovation/Health, Energy, Disaster and Risk for their study, ‘Asin Ating Gamitin Program: Phase 1; Training on Salted Egg Making in Amalbalan Dasol Pangasinan, a collaborative effort with the project leader, Dr. Jocelyn S. De Vera and other extensionists, Ma’am Amalia Ancheta, Ma’am Rose Dyan Sagun and HM faculty members.
With the support of the Campus Executive Director, Dr. Rosario DL. Valencerina, Alaminos City extensionists are committed to providing community service that fosters community collaboration, ensuring that this initiative translates into tangible and sustainable improvements in the lives of residents.
