The Alaminos City Campus (ACC)’s Masirib Kultura has recently garnered multiple accolades at the University-Wide Culture and Arts Fest 2023, hosted by Pangasinan State University-Lingayen Campus on December 4-5. The festival was a vibrant showcase of talent, with Masirib Kultura participating in a variety of competitions such as Painting, On-the-spot poster-making, Charcoal rendering, Pencil drawing, Photography, Pop Solo, Vocal Solo (Kundiman), Vocal Duet, Street Dance, and Folk Dance.
In a remarkable achievement, the representatives for Mr. and Ms. PSU Alaminos City Campus clinched the first runner-up and third runner-up titles in the prestigious Mr. and Ms. PSU 2023 pageant. Their elegance was further recognized as they both triumphed in the Best in Barong Tagalog and Best in Filipiรฑana Attire categories, with Ms. PSU also securing the Best in Casual Wear award.
The Short and Sweet Play competition saw spirited participation from all campuses, but it was the Alaminos City Campus that emerged victorious. The stellar cast, comprising Dinalyn Ventura, MJ Damasco, Lyka Signey, Adel Delos Santos, Elijah Vista, and Lei Rouge Bergonia, delivered an exceptional performance that not only won them the top spot but also the honor of representing the province in next yearโs regional contest.
In the Radio Drama category, the team of Shen Jean Llamas, MJ Damasco, Rohjan Mas Reyes, Aeron Cazar, Allyssa Ramos, and Jhenny De Castro captivated the audience with their compelling storytelling, earning them the first runner-up position.
The dance floor was ablaze with talent in the contemporary dance category, where Julius Bustamante, Carl Pabalan, Gabriel Castelo, Jaycel Mae Nilo, Angela Valdez Tugade, Angel Valdez Tugade, Ailyn Merto, Charis Dianne Asia and Geraldine Asia danced their way to the second runner-up spot.
Adding to the musical fervor, the Live Band category featured an enthralling performance by Daryl Rudy C. Villar, Davelin V. Abuan, Jennifer Advincula, Vince Christopher Ruado, Gianne Santos, Claire C. De Guzman, and John Kevin P. Ocuaman, which resonated with the audience and secured them the first runner-up title.
The festival was a testament to the unwavering dedication and passion of the ACCians.
