𝗣𝗦𝗨-𝗔𝗖𝗖’𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗸𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯

𝗣𝗦𝗨-𝗔𝗖𝗖’𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗸𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯

Bayanihan reigns on the grounds of Pangasinan State University-Alaminos City Campus (PSU-ACC) as it held the 2023 Brigada Unibersidad yesterday, August 18. The activity was participated by the teaching and non-teaching staff, organization officers, classroom officers, graduating students, and incoming freshmen of the First Semester for Academic Year 2023-2024, to ensure a conducive, clean, vibrant, and welcoming campus environment.

The activity started with the registration of participants and was quickly followed by a short program. A welcoming remark was given by Mr. Ricardo G. Salazar Jr., Supreme Student Council Co-Adviser, wherein he emphasized that a PSUnian is truly responsible, especially in social and environmental aspects.

The program continued with a message delivered by Dr. Jenylyn V. Oboza which she dedicated to the incoming freshmen as she reminded them of the essence and privileges of being a PSUnian. Also, she mentioned the last thing that the graduating students may do to their Alma Mater, and that is to extend their hands in Brigada Unibersidad on this day. After the short program, all the participants were divided and designated to their respective areas to clean:

Front gate and left side of PBB: EGE Department

Right side and back of PBB: SPE Department

NB 1st floor, hallway, and front of NB, outside of the front gate: IT Department

NB 2nd floor, hallway, left and right side of NB, hallways: BA Department

Back of NB: Non-Teaching Staff Student Center and Mini Forest: SSC Officers; and

NSTP BCRD Building and Grounds: HTM Department

Together with their respective instructors and campus staff, students voluntarily extended their effort in sweeping, planting, decluttering, and mopping to create a safe and ordered zone of excellence as they welcome a new academic year.

Aside from the cleaning tasks, Brigada Unibersidad paved the way for the freshmen students to be familiar with the new environment that they will be enjoying in their college lives, as well as getting to know their colleagues, co-students, and respective instructors that will help and guide them in pursuing their dreams.

Hence, Brigada Unibersidad is an activity that allows the students to be ready for another year of success, excellence, learning, and fun.
