Recognizing Pangasinan State University’s proficiency in research and extension activities, officials of the Department of Education’s City Schools Division of Alaminos visited Alaminos City Campus last August 2, 2021 for possible joint ventures between the two agencies.
ย The division office led by the delegation head, Dr. Rosario D. Cabrera, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent inquired on the “EduSaklolo” project of the College of Teacher Education which could possibly adopted into a home learning facilitator program.
Mrs. Ellen Grace Ugalde, Dean of the College of Teacher Education and Prof. Jocelyn De Vera, Coordinator for Extension Services discussed how the “EduSaklolo” was implemented during the time of Dr. Christopher Cocal, former CTE Dean. On the other hand, Dr. Renato Salcedo, Campus Executive Director, suggested the crafting of two memoranda of agreement for collaborations on research and extension.
This initial meeting manifests the strong partnership between PSU and DepEd as they share a common goal of making quality education be delivered to learners amid the fight against COVID19 pandemic.
