Pangasinan State University Alaminos City Campus has once again demonstrated its commitment to sustainable development by securing second place in the university-wide contest for the Best SDG Corner. The competition, organized by the University Planning Office (UPO) through the Sustainable Development and Futures Thinking Unit, aimed to promote awareness and creativity around the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs).

The UN-SDGs provide a universal call to action, urging nations, institutions, and individuals to address critical global challenges. These goals encompass a wide range of issues, including poverty eradication, environmental protection, and social well-being. PSU recognizes the significance of aligning its initiatives with these goals to create a better future for all.

The Alaminos City Campus impressed the evaluators with its thoughtful approach and dedication to the SDGs. Their corner showcased a harmonious blend of creativity, sustainability, and visual appeal. By incorporating recycled materials, they demonstrated their commitment to environmental consciousness.
