Pangasinan State University (PSU) Alaminos City Campus has once again proven its academic excellence by producing 128 new Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs) in the March 2024 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LET).
The campusโs elementary-level first-time examinees showcased an impressive 90.79% passing rate, with 69 out of 76 candidates successfully passing the examination. The repeaters also demonstrated a perfect score, with all 4 candidates passing the exam, resulting in a 100% passing rate.
Overall, the campus achieved a remarkable 91.25% passing rate at the elementary level, with 73 out of 80 candidates passing the exam. This performance significantly surpassed the national passing rate of 46.67%.
At the secondary level, PSU Alaminos City Campus continued to shine. The first-time examinees achieved a high passing rate of 94.55%, with 52 out of 55 candidates passing the exam. However, the repeaters faced a tougher challenge, with a passing rate of 42.86%.
Despite this, the campus still managed to achieve an overall passing rate of 88.71% at the secondary level, with 55 out of 62 candidates passing the exam. This performance is notably higher than the national passing rate of 58.78%.
In addition to these individual achievements, PSU Alaminos City Campus has also secured the 8th position among the top-performing schools in the March 2024 LET for the elementary level.
