The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region 1 awarded financial assistance to eligible students at Pangasinan State University-Alaminos City Campus (PSU-ACC) through the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) on November 10. The TDP is an initiative by CHED that aims to provide financial support to academically proficient yet financially constrained students.

Meanwhile, the CHED Region 1 team facilitated the distribution of scholarships at the Audio-Visual room (AVR) of PSU-ACC, under the supervision of Mrs. Shella Marie Diocare, PSU-ACC Campus Student Services and Alumni Affairs Coordinator. Recipients received their stipends in the form of checks, amounting to 15,000 pesos for the 2021-2022 academic year.

In addition, the TDP underscores the ongoing dedication of institutions like PSU-ACC to overcoming financial barriers and ensuring an accessible education for a promising future. The program also encourages the students to excel in their academic performance and contribute to the development of their communities.
