The 2nd CITEDH-r1 Regional Research Conference & IT Skills Competition (CRRCISC) 2024 witnessed an impressive performance from the students of the PSU-Alaminos City Campus.

The team, under the guidance of their dedicated coaches, clinched 1st Place in Web Design and bagged the title of Best Paper Presenter for Code Quest.

In the Web Design category, which tested skills in HTML, CSS, and JS, the dynamic duo of John Jay Suniga and his coach, Ms. Ma. Joshua D. Caras, emerged victorious. Their innovative design and coding skills set them apart from the competition, earning them the top spot.

The Code Quest category, focusing on C# and Unity, saw an outstanding presentation by Harris Casiano and Charlo Cabural. Guided by their coach, Dr. Carlo Genster Camposagrado, their paper was recognized as the best among a pool of high-quality research papers.

Other participants were Stephanie C. Arig, Jonel C. Rabanillo, Bryan Dela Cruz, Carl Gabrielle N. Orfinada, and Christian David C. Valdez for quiz bee; Emelh D. Ochavez, Gomer C. Cabubas, Mark Joseph E. Tugade, Miko Bryan O. Ortillo, and Rhenzel Von A. Ginez for Mobile Legends; and Alyssa Ancheta, Kyla Ison, Clarence Flores, and Mark Joseph Ramiscal for paper presentation.

The success of the PSU-Alaminos City Campus team would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of their coaches. Special mention goes to Mr. Ruissan Ramos and Raychard Platon, who played a crucial role in preparing the students for the competition, and Dr. Rosario DL. Valencerina, Campus Executive Director for her invaluable support to the participants.

The 2nd CRRCISC 2024 served as a platform for budding IT professionals to showcase their skills and the PSU-Alaminos City Campus team certainly made their mark. Their achievements are a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the high standard of education at PSU-Alaminos City Campus.
