The Aklatang Henyo event, a celebration of the 33rd Library and Information Services Month and the 89th National Book Week, was a tremendous success. The event was held in the Audio-visual Room under the leadership of Mrs. Luisa Andrea C. Junio, RL, Campus Librarian, and Mrs. Mary Ann Jacinta M. Soriano, Acting Librarian.

The game, akin to the โ€œPinoy Henyoโ€ segment from Eat Bulaga, was introduced by the game master, Mr. Hezekiah M. Austria. In a unique twist, participants responded with โ€œOh yes,โ€, โ€œOh no,” or โ€œMaybe” instead of the usual โ€œOoโ€, โ€œHindiโ€, โ€œPwedeโ€. The words to be guessed were all library-related, adding an educational spin to the fun.

The event was filled with enjoyment, laughter, and valuable information, as participants employed strategic moves to guess the words. The winners of the event were Sarie Boy Caboteja and Danica Amistad from BS Hospitality Management, who secured first place. BSE Filipino students, Jey Anne Leslie Marzan and Danica Carizal, clinched second place, while BSE Mathematics representatives Queenie Marie Shania V. Dumali and Danielle Mae D. Mondares took third place.

The awarding ceremony will be announced shortly, and all the winners will receive cash prizes. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting event.

Congratulations to all the winners and the students who participated in the said event.
