Pangasinan State University Alaminos City Campus held a pivotal Campus Management Review on January 16. The meeting commenced at 8:30 AM in the Audio-Visual Room, with all outgoing and incoming process owners, as outlined by the new campus organizational structure, in attendance.
Dr. Rosario Dl. Valencerina, the Campus Executive Director, led the meeting. She emphasized that the results of the review would serve as an eye-opener for the concerned process owners. The review was skillfully facilitated by Mr. Ronald R. Noma, the Campus Quality Assurance Coordinator.
The primary objective of the review was to acquaint the incoming process owners with their duties and responsibilities, particularly in terms of quality assurance activities. The review aimed to provide guidance and information to all parties involved.
The meeting concentrated on several key objectives. These included the status of actions from previous management reviews and changes in external and internal issues relevant to the quality management system. The latter covered topics such as Education 4.0, sustainable development goals, and land acquisition.
The assembly also offered insights into the performance and effectiveness of the quality management system. This included trends in customer satisfaction, feedback from relevant interested parties, the extent to which top-level and functional quality objectives have been met, process performance, conformity of products and services, non-conformities and corrective actions, monitoring and measurement results, audit results, and the performance of external providers.
The summary of the audit findings revealed that the established Quality Management System (QMS) of PSU Alaminos City Campus meets the minimum requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard. However, it was noted that there are still necessary actions to enhance the level of implementation.
This Campus Management Review underscores the institution’s unwavering commitment to continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence in education. It highlights the significance of quality assurance activities in achieving the institution’s goals and objectives.
