𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐛𝐚𝐠 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐 𝗚𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗴-𝗮𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁y

Ms. Jessa Marie Cabalbag, placed 4th in the 2022 Gawad Parangal para sa Natatanging Mag-aaral ng Pangasinan State University. Together with her is her supportive grandmother, Mrs. Zaida Cabalbag. During her speech, Ms. Cabalbag expressed her gratitude to everyone who helped her become who she is today. She also mentioned that she is thankful and honored to represent PSU-ACC in the Gawad Parangal. “For all these things, I thank PSU, and by ‘thank you,’ I mean doing something for them in return. Even after graduating, I will continue living and fulfilling PSU’s vision, mission, and core values. Now that I am a private school teacher at St. Adelaide School—the Philippines in Burgos, Pangasinan, I would do my best to ensure that I instill in my students the values that PSU taught me. I want to thank all of the faculty, staff, and officials of PSU for giving us the capacity to make our dream come true and shaping us to become productive citizens of our society.” In addition, Ms. Cabalbag also wants to leave a message to her co-PSUnians, “to all my fellow natatanging mag-aaral, congratulations for also rising above the hardships that life threw you. Congratulations on doing a job well done at PSU. Thank you for also being an inspiration to all our fellow PSUnians. Huwag puro sanaol sapagkat ang taong marunong mangarap ay dapat marunong ding magsikap.” Ms. Jessa Marie Cabalbag is a Magna Cum Laude under the Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English.
