The Philippines Association of Practitioners of Student Affairs and Services, Inc. (PAPSAS) successfully concluded its 15th Interactive Youth Forum 2024 (IYF 2024) at the Crown Legacy Hotel in Baguio City. The three-day event, which ran from April 17 to 19, was themed โ€œSystems and Anticipatory Thinking for Sustainable Student Activities and Stewardship.โ€

The IYF has consistently served as a platform for young participants to engage in meaningful discussions about their diverse experiences, aspirations, and needs. It also fosters the sharing of best practices in student leadership and organization.

This yearโ€™s forum saw a strong representation from the Pangasinan State University (PSU) Alaminos City Campus. Leading the delegation were Ms. Arifa S. Hadji Abdullah, the Student Supreme Council (SSC) President, and Mr. Ricardo Salazar, Jr., the SSC adviser. They were joined by their peers from other PSU campuses, including Urdaneta, Infanta, Lingayen, San Carlos, and Asingan.

The event highlighted the importance of forward-thinking and sustainable practices in student activities and stewardship. It also underscored the role of youth in shaping the future of student affairs and services. The successful conclusion of IYF 2024 marks another milestone in PAPSASโ€™s commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders.
