Today, November 22, 2023, Pangasinan State University-Alaminos City Campus (PSU-ACC) kicked off the 23rd Library Information Services Month and the 89th National Book Week with a Bookmark-Making Contest. The event was spearheaded by Ms. Luisa Andrea C. Junio, RL, Campus Librarian.
The criteria for the contest were outlined by Mrs. Mary Ann Jacinta M. Soriano, Acting College Librarian. She also introduced this year’s theme, “LET’S LIBRARIES: Learning, Empowering, and Transforming Society through Libraries.”
The contest saw participation from eighteen students across various departments, who showcased their creativity and craftsmanship in bookmark-making using a variety of art materials.
In addition to the Bookmark-Making Contest, another event titled ‘Aklatang Henyo’ is scheduled for tomorrow at the Audio-visual Room, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The winners of the contest will be announced on the official Facebook page of PSU-ACC’s Library.
Best of luck to all participants, and we look forward to seeing you there, ACCians!
