In line with the institutionโ€™s dedication to ongoing enhancement and high-quality education, Pangasinan State University-Alaminos City Campus faculty members gathered in the Audio-Visual Room for a comprehensive training and development session on Multiple-Choice Test Construction. This significant event took place on January 24.

The training was divided into several key topics. Dr. Ellen Grace B. Ugalde, Dean of the College of Teacher Education, led the discussions on the importance of learning outcomes, constructive alignment, and the preparation of the Table of Specifications (TOS).

Dr. Christopher J. Cocal, Associate Professor V at PSU, further enriched the training by discussing test reliability and validity. He also guided the faculty through the development of a multiple-choice test/exam and critiquing sample TOS and Multiple-Choice Tests.

Dr. Rosario DL. Valencerina, Campus Executive Director, commended the initiatives of the training organizers, particularly acknowledging the efforts of Dr. Ugalde and Dr. Cocal.

Dr. Chenee Marie C. Cacho, Department Chairperson of Secondary and Professional Education, emphasized the importance of the training. She brought attention to a profound statement during the meeting that we canโ€™t give quality if we donโ€™t know what quality is.

By equipping its faculty with the necessary skills to construct effective and reliable tests, PSU-ACC aims to enhance the learning experience for its students and contribute to the broader educational community.
