The University Frontier (TUF), the official publication of Pangasinan State University Alaminos City Campus secured 7th place for Literary Folio Concept and 8th place for Literary Folio Content during the 19th Luzon-wide Higher Education Press Conference held at Villa Caceres Hotel, Naga City, Camarines Sur, Bicol Region on March 19-21.
Adding to the accolades, Mr. Junnie Rey Rendon, Editor-in-Chief, clinched 4th Place for Opinion Writing-Filipino Category.
Other members of the TUF who represented Region 1 are Lovely Joy Garcia for Comic Strip Drawing-English; Carlito Peralta Jr. for Photojournalism-English; Joel Caigas for News Writing-Filipino; Shen Jean Llamas for Sports Writing Filipino; and Robert Barawid Jr. for Layouting.
These achievements underscore the dedication and talent of the TUF team and highlight the importance of student publications in fostering critical thinking, creativity, and journalistic integrity.
