Highlighting the value of literacy with a sort of drama and injection of impactful lines while promoting the values of patriotism and nationalism, the film Blind Soldiers stunned the movie-goers from Pangasinan State University Alaminos City Campus during the special movie viewing at SM City Rosales, September 19.

With a total number of 240 freshmen students, accompanied by the NSTP faculty, together with the Campus Executive Director, Dr. Jenylyn V. Oboza; Dean of College of Teacher Education, Dr. Ellen Grace B. Ugalde; Enhance General Education Department Chairperson, Dr. Janice Carambas; Information and Technology Department Chairperson, Mr. Ruissan A. Ramos; Culture and Arts Coordinator, Mr. Lord Calumm B. Ocuaman crowded the Cinema 2 and commemorated the bravery and patriotism of the unsung heroes of World War II by watching the film.

The movie featured a remarkable ensemble of actors such as Dr. Ronald Adamat, Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education, and renowned performers Long Mejia, Soliman Cruz, Gary Lim, and Bong Cabrera.

This film was more than just a captivating story, it was a moving tribute to history and a strong message of unity. It helped students feel deeply connected to the brave World War II heroes from Mindanao.
